I'm very proud to post here my last new painting (available soon in my etsy shop) which was quite a piece of work mainly because I had share my time with others few works/deadlines
Don't get me wrong, I love to be art busy but it toke a bit longer that what I thinked!
Just to mention again that I can work a custom painting for you inspired by photo of yours (or others, why not) as you can see here, I want to say that this "Beautiful Sitting mama breastfeeding" was inspired by the photo of an amazing photographer Jade Beall as you can see below. Je suis très fier de poster ici mon dernier tableau (bientôt disponible dans ma boutique etsy) qui a représenté pas mal de travail principalement parce que je devais partager mon temps avec d'autres œuvres et projets en cours.

I'm still here and I hate to write this but I just need to be realistic : I don't have time to do all I want to do, not if I still want to catch some sleep btw.

Collage, calendar and others / Collage, calendrier et autres

Hello!
I'm not posting very frequently later, and I'm sorry for this. My 365 ACEOs project is keeping me busy as well as others projects.
In fact I'm very proud to announce this "Breastfeeding Art Calendar" produced by borstgevoed (that you can also find of FB and twitter) where my "Everywhere" breastfeeding painting is feautured on the month of june (which btw is also my birthday month ;-))

I hope to tell you more soon about new projects and painting, one which I hope it will be very special is on my easel at the moment....

In my collage of the last ten days ACEOs there is a lot of motherhood as you can see (babywearing, breastfeeding, birth,pregnancy)  and a couple of "outsiders" such as the "Indian girl" which has been inspired by "Slumdog Millionaire" which I strongly raccomand you to watch if you didn't yet and "Field of red poppies" which are between my favourite flowers. A week of flu gave me more desire for spring than ever!

Je ne poste pas très souvent ces derniers temps et je ne suis désolée. Mon projet "365 jours avec un aceo" me tiens bien occupée, ainsi que d'autres projets.

En fait, je suis très fier de vous montrer ce calendrier «L'allaitement dans l'Art", produit par borstgevoed (que vous pouvez également trouver d'un FB  et twitter) où mon tableau "Everywhere", peinture sur l'allaitement, figure sur le mois de juin (qui,soit dit au passage, c'est aussi le mois de mon anniversaire ;-))

J'espère vous en dire plus bientôt sur ​​de nouveaux projets et sur le futur tableau qui est sur ​​mon chevalet à l'heure actuelle ....

 Dans mon collage aceo des dix derniers jours , il y a beaucoup de maternage comme vous pouvez le voir (portage, allaitement, naissance, grossesse) et un couple de «outsiders» comme "Indian girl" (fille indienne) qui a été inspiré par "Slumdog Millionaire" dont je vous  recommande vraiment de voir le film si vous ne l''avez pas encore fait et "Field of red poppies" (champ de coquelicots rouges) qui sont parmi mes fleurs préférées. New ACEOs, breastfeeding, sand and desert (en français aussi!)

BIG SALE
First of all my first time big sale started yesterday. I decide to put on sale few artworks from 2008 and 2009 and they will be 50% off until the 12th of february. The reasons : my art has evolved and I need room for new artworks.We'll see where this lead up I hope few of them will find a new home.

I've got two new ACEOs for the project  

For the 9/1/2013 I've got "Breastfeeding in the meadow"

I started a new collection in the 365 called "breastfeeding everywhere" and this is the first one.
I'm breastfeeding for the third and I think last time my almost 15 months old daughter and I learned so much.
I did want breastfeed before beeing a mum and I'm happy I've been helped enough to do that. Experience helps but the first time when it's more likely having some trouble I've been amazed by the work of many volunteer breastfeeding association such as La leche league
If you are on facebook I strongly raccomand you to join this page as well "BeautifulBreastfeeding" where lots of people give and receive advice and exchange experiences.

The 10/1/2013 aceo is made of acrylic and ...sand. It's called "The sand's tree"

The sand's tree - ACEO - 10/1/2013

I'm going to do some artistic research about using sand and myabe other things possibly on canvans. For this I've been using just a little bit of glue and the final protective gloss vernish that I usually put on my artworks helps to seal the sand as well. It's an old idea that I've got, so maybe time is almost come to see where this will lead up as well.
Now this sand is really special....it's one of my souvenirs from Mauritania  where me and my husband did a trekking in the desert in april 2000.
It was really hard for me since I wasn't used and prepared at all to do this, marching in the deep sand it can be a real challenge...but it was an amazing experience and what we can see and learn in colors and landscape it's just endless. Here just few scan of the hundred photos (not yet digital at that time) we've been tacking. Just fantastic, I wish one day to go back  there again.

Tout d'abord mes premiers soldes ont commencé hier. Je décide de solder certains œuvres de 2008 et 2009. Ils seront à 50% de réduction jusqu'au 12 février. J'allaite pour la troisième fois (et je pense la dernière) ma fille de presque 15 mois et j'ai beaucoup appris.
Je voulais allaiter avant d’être maman et je suis heureuse d'avoir été suffisamment aidée pour reussir. L'expérience est utile, mais la première fois quand il est plus probable de rencontrer quelques difficultés, j'ai été surpris par le travail des association bénévoles tels que La leche league

L' aceo du 10/1/2013 est fait de sable et acrylique. ...  
Il s'appelle "The sand's tree"

Je vais faire un peu de recherche artistique sur l'utilisation de sable à utiliser sur la toile. Pour celui ci , je me suis servie d'un peu de colle et au final le vernis de protection que j'ai l'habitude de mettre sur mes tableaux une fois terminés contribue à sceller le sable aussi. C'est une vieille idée que j'ai, alors peut-être le temps est presque venu pour voir où cela mènera aussi ...

Or, ce sable est vraiment spécial .... c'est un de mes souvenirs de la Mauritanie où moi et mon mari on a fait un trekking dans le désert en avril 2000.

C'était vraiment difficile pour moi, car je n'étais pas habitué et préparé du tout à cela, marcher dans le sable profond, il peut être un véritable défi ... mais c'était une expérience incroyable et ce que nous pouvons voir et apprendre en terme des couleurs et paysage c'est juste incroyable Voici juste quelques-uns des centaines de photos (pas encore numérique à ce moment-là) J’espère pouvoir le refaire un jour.

My postcards paintings "#Loving family of four" and "#Nighttime breastfeeding" are arrived safely in Los Angeles for the third #Twitter Art Exhibition 2013 and I honestly couldn't be more happier, I hate when my artworks travel even if I do my best for them to get safe to wherever destination, still....

This exhibition is the result of some wonderful idea and lots of work from artist David Sandum (@DavidSandumArt), from Moss in Norway and others artist (and not just) that joined him in this project.
In the Organizing Board and on #twitter you'll find also Robin Maria Pedrero (@robinpedrero) , Christian Karlsson (@svorsk), Ryan Seslow (@ryanseslow) and Nat George (@natgeorgela)

The exhibition's goal: help charities and not for profit organizations around the world.
2013 will be the third edition and I must say I'm really proud to be part of it!
I truly admire the idea of course but also the huge amount of work that this rapresents.
I did years of volunteer in my past and I kind of know what does it means....congratulations guys!

Artists on twitter are sending postcard size paintings with diverse subjects and styles to the exhibition from all around the world.  
All these artworks will be on a wall at EU Gallery in Chinatown's Arts District in Los Angeles and sold for charity. 
The money raised will go to EU Art Division helping underserved youths 18-25.
For what I can see on the official web site there is a lot of high quality art for a hig quality project.
I wish I could be able to go there personally but maybe another year.

Submission deadline is Friday, January 4, 2013. Don’t miss the deadline due to holiday postal delays!
