The Rainbow Mermaid - Feminine ACEO - 04/01/2013

Very often artists have one or more main topics (mine for instance are women and motherhood)  and others less frequent but not for that less important that every now and then came along.
One of them for me is the mermaid figure. I've always found this character to be absolutely fascinating!
When I was a little girl I would really much beeing able to be a mermaid and exploring the deep sea, not to speak about fantastic strange body and very loooooong hair ;-)
Not so much to have with the Andersen's little mermaid which I find terribly sad (well Andersen wasn't exactly a funny writer...). I saw her sculpture when I was leaving in Denmark few years ago.
I must say I was a bit disappointed about the Harry Potter 's rapresentation in the Goblet of Fire, where they look ugly and quite dangerous.
Of course my mermaids have been influenced by motherhood as well.

L'aceo d'aujourd'hui s'appelle  "The rainbow mermaid" (La sirène arc en ciel )
Souvent les artistes ont un ou plusieurs thèmes principales (Pour moi ce sont par exemple le maternage et le féminin) et d'autres thèmes moins fréquents makis pas pour autant moins importants qui sortent périodiquement. Pour moi un c'est la figure de la sirène que j'ai toujours trouvé forte fascinant!
Quand j’étaie petite j'aurais adoré être une sirène et pouvoir explorer les profondeurs marines, sans parler d'avoir un corps  magnifique et des superbes chevaux tréééééééééééééés longue ;-).  
Pas beaucoup à voir avec la petite sirène d'Andersen que je trouve  très tristounet (mais bon, Andersen n’était pas non plus un marrant). J'ai pu voir sa sculpture quand je vivais au Danemark il y a quelque années en arrière.
Je dois aussi dure que j'étais déçue de la voir dans Harry Potter   dans the Goblet of Fire (La coup de feu), ou elle sont vraiment super moches et terriblement dangereuses.
les miennes ont bien sur des influences du maternage et autres.
