18/12/2012 "I hope" from The 365 ACEOs project / Projet : 365 jours avec un ACEO

Sometimes I like to write on my artwork....never did yet on canvans but who know which evolution I'll take?
The today's ACEO for the project  is : "I hope"

I hope ....that one day I'll be able to live on my art
I hope....that my children would feel good with themlself the most of the time and that they'll know what they really would love to do in life
I hope....that all my family will be always well enough

I hope.....in a year 2013 a bit more light then 2012

I hope....TIME FOR YOU TO FILL THE BLANK! ;-)

Quelque fois j'aime bien ajouter des écritures sur mes œuvres, je ne l'ai jamais fait encore sur une toile juste sur les œuvres sur papier mais on ne connais pas en avance toute les évolution ;-)
L'aceo de aujourd'hui pour mon projet s'appelle : "I hope" (J'espère)

J'espère ...qu'un jour je pourrais vivre de mon art
J'espère .... que mes enfantes seront toujours suffisamment bien dans leur pompes et que très vite vont savoir ce qu'ils aime faire dans la vie
J'espère ... que toute ma famille sera toujours suffisamment bien et en santé
J'espère...que l°année 2013 sera tout de même un peu plus légère que 2012!

Introducing my painting "Woman of sword"

Hi there!

I'd like the idea to tell you a bit more about my paintings and the story behind them.
This one is called "Woman of swords" but the real title is in italian "Donna di spade".

I painted this in june 2008 when i was leaving in wonderful Copenhagen (or København, Denmark)

At that time I liked  to paint in a sort of monochromatic way. I choosed blue for this one because it kind of reminded me about the sword's blade.
Now, this artwork has a double story with him.

First :
the "Woman of sword" is born as part of a collection of four paintings inspired to the italian playing cards from Naple.
There are four suits : swords (spade), cups( coppe), money (denari/coins), bastoni (clubs).
In the original card she doesn't look so warrior but then it cames artistic interpretation, I liked to paint her like a combative woman (of cours not all combatives women need a real sword ;-))

Second :
This  painting was lost for few months in 2010 because a fake exhibition supposedly hold in Senegal (At the time I did a FB page about it but this shame cheating "festival" is still on the web, artists watch out!).
It was back with others 3 paintings after almost 5 months.
In the end I was really lucky but  during the period it was lost I felt really bad.Now I'm much more carefull!

Co sleeping family

Hi !

This is an hot topic! ;-)

This pic was on the FB wall of an italian friend few days ago and it made me laugh , so I did some translation because it really resume what I think about this and what you can answer the doctor (and some others people that surely exist in your life) if you co sleeps with your children.

Of course every one does wherever he/she wants....for me co sleeping was a life saver, at the third child in almost 6 years I would be sleep dead  if I didn't find this solution!

And no, they really go to sleep in their bed at some point!
And no, they won't be sleeping with you when they'll be eighteen!
And no, you're not creating some dysfunctional human being!
And.......(fill the blank)......

Getting started....

Wait Wait!!! This is just the beginning....I just got started! ;-)

Please, be patient, as my title said I'm a MAMA of three children and many PAINTINGS (Artist!)
so, that's why it may take a while to have a nice view over here....at the moment all three children are at home (school holiday! yeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssss!!!)
